Hazardous Waste General Awareness Training is an ANNUAL REQUIREMENT for all employees who work in areas where hazardous waste is GENERATED, TREATED, STORED, or SHIPPED. Professional Presentations customizes In-House training to the specifics of your workplace, beginning with a morning “mock audit” designed to identify areas or practices which do not meet regulatory requirements. Frank Jeanson is uniquely qualified to conduct the annual training required under Title 40, CFR, Ch. I and Title 49 CFR, Ch. H. Frank is a Chemical Engineer, has a law degree, and is a Master Level Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM). He has been a CHMM for 21 years. He has worked in the Chemical Industry, the Refining Industry, the Lubricants Business, and the Oil Exploration and Production area. Frank approaches regulatory training with the expertise, understanding and experience to help you meet your company’s objectives.

    The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulates hazardous waste from creation to disposal. If your job involves handling hazardous waste, you're required by law to complete annual training.

  • Who needs RCRA training?

    Any personnel who work with or manage hazardous waste must be trained within 6 months of employment and annually thereafter.

  • Do I receive a certification?

    Yes. Certifications are valid for one year and issued after course completion.

  • How long are the seminars?

    • Morning RCRA: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
    • Afternoon DOT: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM

  • Where are the seminars located?

    In-person classes are held in airport hotels across cities like Houston, New Orleans, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth.

  • Is there a discount for multiple attendees?

    Yes. A $100 discount applies to each additional employee from the same company.

  • How often is DOT training required?

    Every three years, per federal transportation regulations.
